the physics is in the repo — the film just needs a device to color the light.
bubble
a film of water in a room — the lights reflected off it, the window through it, interference coloring both
flat white, D65-like baseline
air · 1.33 · air — one reversal
a stable shell, kept alive by the circulation
none — the unpolarized average
the room is part of the physics. the softboxes you see on the skin are reflected through the film — their color is the film's thickness. the window behind comes through twice, once per wall, so the bubble is a filter, not a lens.
drag to orbit: the interference path shortens with the viewing angle, and the rim brightens as the film turns to a mirror.
